Why I'm Participating
I am a nurse and I have recently joined this great team on Unit 37: Renal Medicine and Transplant at Foothills Hospital.
Every day, I work with patients with kidney disease and every day I hear a personal story. I am inspired by the stories patients and families share with me.
These stories are so emotionally involving that my heart just jumps and it wants to do something about it.
My Aunt Laxmi is also a patient with kidney disease on Hemo-dialysis. The Kidney March is my way to support and make the difference and contribute to Funding New Research, Kidney Disease Prevention with early detection and Growing the Organ Donation Pool.
This is why I am marching!
