Why I'm Participating

100 km walk hardly amounts to the hours of love and heartache mom (Virginia Vaillancourt) has experienced in the raising of her 4 kids. My siblings and I are blessed to have been guided through this world by someone who loves all others so completely and unselfeshly. Her crazy teen like personality and spirit is what I will think of when the walk gets hard. Mom battles Kidney disease head on by continuing to live life to its fullest every day and I plan on living my life in the same spirit.
Every blister, every cramp and every colorful word used during the event will be for her. Good thing I know alot of innapropriate words.
I also do this walk for her sister. Aunt Avon who lives with Kidney disease and in loving and found memory of "Crazy prankster" Uncle Earl and "free spirited" Aunt Opal.
Thank you to all my friends and family who are supporting me, mom and all those who suffer from this disease during this challenge.
