What a success!

Funds raised in 2011 surpassed last year!   What a great way to help The Kidney Foundation raise awareness about the need for more organ donors.  Thank you everyoneHighlights of the Walk included a visit from Sidney the Kidney, who said that he loved the selected breakfast goodies that were served at the Walk!  And,The RBC Foundation team not only came out to walk in full force, but on the Friday prior to the event the team promoted the Walk by wearing Kidney Walk T-Shirts at work.  A "Beatle's Night Dance" fundraiser that occurred back in May added to the successful bottom line of this year great event.

Well done Burns Lake.  Watch for details about next year's Kidney Walk.

This huge gap between “will do” and “did do” is threatening the lives of the 2,800 people in BC on kidney dialysis. They must wait up to 5 years for a new kidney. Some don’t last that long. The Kidney Foundation is committed to closing this gap and YOU CAN HELP.
